Drivers side window motor

I have a 01 Corolla and the drivers side window is dragging and making slight whining noise only when being rolled up. It was replace in 2007 @ local dealership with actual Toyota motor and regulator. Is it possible its going bad again, its not even used that much. Or could be a lubrication problem, none of the windows have been lubricated. I've been told to lube the " runs" with silicone spray - not 100% sure how to do this. I replaced the motor only on the passenger side, but it was actually not rolling up and didn't act like this problem at all. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, don't want to replace motor and regulator if I don't need to.

Runs are the rails the window slides on. Drop your window halfway then spray silicone spray down the track it runs on.

Buurin, thanks, but I'm still a little confused. Are the runs the rubber on the top of the door that the window goes in between, or are runs another name for the metal regulator that the window sits in to move it up and down?

In other words, squirt silicone down the vertical track the window glass runs up or down in.

Buurin,
Alright I think I've got you're explanation. Its not the horizontal rubber that runs across the top of door, right above the door panel itself. Its the rubber that runs vertical to the window. Do the runs go all the way to the bottom of the door itself? Thanks again, I certainly appreciate the advise. Also, do you have any insight on the rear drum brakes. The problem I have is the hole when I take out the plug is offset with the actual "star adjustment" and my brake spoon will not reach it. I have had it to Sears and a couple other places and they said the only way to adjust them is with the drum off, put on tight as possible then the self adjusters will do the rest. I don't believe that, because why is there a rubber plug to access the adjustment wheel or star. Do I need a special 90 degree brake spoon, has me baffled. I've always have done my own brakes, but have never seen the adjustment wheel not directly in front of the hole where you remove the rubber plug.Thank again
