USA o2 issue with acceleration?

Hello Everyone,

A year ago I replaced both o2 sensors but after replacing them the car started intermittently having an acceleration issue were if I slightly pressed the accelerator it would move fine but would bog down if pushed down normally but would open up the throttle if flooring the accelerator. I have just started getting an error message and took it to Auto zone they said it was the upstream O2 sensor reading slow. Could this possibly be because I put in Bosch O2 sensors instead of the official Toyota O2 ones?

Shouldn't they last longer than a year?

I also replaced the catalytic converter a month ago because of the acceleration issue. A mechanic said it could have been the source of the issue.

I have a 1999 Toyota Corolla ZE with 199700 miles on it.

Any help would be great. Like wether I should replace the O2 sensor with a Toyota one this time?

Thanks.

O2 sensors are very sensitive, when you replace them, always sure you replace them for a OEM part otherwise you might have problems with false readings.

Check if you can get a refund and get this time an OEM part.

Now check what are your codes and check if you have a clogged fuel filter or a bad fuel pump.

Never, ever buy generic aftermarket parts when it comes to computer related parts like an O2 sensor.
