Carburetor to Fuel Injection Conversion

good day everyone

i want to do a carburetor to fuel injection conversion on my car. currently i drive a Toyota Conquest 1.3L (4-Speed Manual) carburetor. i phoned a couple of local suppliers and got quotes on the 4A-GE Series3 1.6L Twincam 16valve engine.

with the purchase the following is included:
* 5-speed manual gearbox
* starter
* alternator
* power steering pump
* ac pump
* manifolds (exhaust and intake)
* distributor
* automatic flywheel.

additionally i need to purchase a manual flywheel, fuel pump and engine management system. this would be the first time im doing a conversion. except for the above mentioned, is there anything else?

This isn't the right section you are posting in. Try ask around in the 7th generation forum. They are the last ones equipped with the A series engines, and I know some of them has done 4A-GE swaps.

From just looking at your list, I'd say check the drive shafts for length and fitment. You might need new ones. Also, check the engine/transmission mounts to see if they will sit. Not sure what series your engine is, you might need to purchase new mounts or fabricate some.
