Not familiar with any of those vendors - but the kits are pretty basic. No injectors, no engine management, no base tune or sensors. That could easily add and additional $1000 or more to the cost of the kit, depending on what you want to get.

Could probably price out something a lot cheaper, if you source the parts separately. Even with something come comprehensive, like Turbokits.com kits - nothing I've seen so far for the 8th gen, has been run "out of the box".

Monkey Wrench Racing has kits for the 1ZZ-FE, but they are considerably more expensive. But given their background and support for the 1ZZ-FE engine, that extra cost could save money / reduce the number of headaches in the end.

^Easy on the reload button. quite frankly this car should be able to be safely boosted under 2k using quality parts. i can get a mitsu 20g from FP racing for 600 bucks or something like that and work from there. the EMS will cost a pretty penny 8-900 and the rest come from sourcing ebay and junkyards. i know it can be done. i dont have the money, car, or time for it though.

^ Yeah, not sure what happened for that post - browser (Firefox) just went kind of haywire for a couple of minutes.

The multiple posting and lag issue on the forums has been a noted issue for a while now. It happened to me a couple of times as well. We're currently having someone on our staff looking into it now. Hopefully they'll get back to us soon on where the culprit lies.

I contacted MWR. They don't make a kit for my particular car but they said they build a one-off for me. They quoted my about $6000. That's not counting the expense of two round trips from Virginia to Michigan. (One to take it out there and one to bring it back.)
