Not a whole of gain from swapping a Celica engine into a Corolla, unless the Celica in question is the 7th gen GT-S (2ZZ-GE engine).
Curious why the engine swap direction, is the 1ZZ-FE in the Corolla already dying? That case, swap make more sense. If the engine is still in good shape and you just want more power - lots of other options out there are available for similar or even less cost/time. Turbocharging, supercharging, nitrous, light or heavy bolt ons, etc.
Have to remember, not just the hardware has to be swapped over but the ECM as well. Not as simple as moving the ECM over and be done with it - as many body functions are controlled by the ECM as well. Fair amount of wiring is involved with a swap of this magnitude. If you jump away for the 7th gen Celica to say the earlier one with the 3SGTE engine - even more work is involved to get that swap going - assuming that they even allow that swap (ie. legal for highway use / legal to register in your state).
