99 Corolla VE

I have a 99 corolla ve with 40k miles. How do I tell if wheel bearing or cv joint making the noise when going around corner or turning? I thought it was the front brakes but replaced them. Sometimes makes noise just when leaving from stop light.
Thanks

I'm having a similar problem. But only when the tire hits a small bump it makes this noise like if it had a loose bolt or something.

I've read around and one way to test the bearings is to hold the tire at 10 o clock and 2 o clock and try to shake the tire. If it wiggles more than a little bit then it most likely needs replacing. Probably this coming week I'm going to take off the wheel and have a look to see what's causing that noise

I had a click noise whenever I was turning around corners. I had it hoisted up and noticed the CVT boot was leaking from wear. So we replaced that and it was fine after that. Maybe it's the boot that is just worn out?

Could that click also be worn out upper strut mounts (front)? The ones in the front have ball joints in them right? Could be they are worn out now.
