Jumping Car

Hey everyone I drove around my friends 2000 Corolla CE the other day because she told me to check it out the bouncing.

I drove down the street and the car feels like the shocks are going which they are gone already I believe based on the pictures.

I found out how to do the rear ones. Don't you have to remove the coil as well if your changing the shocks ?? This would change the whole job.

If Not this job should be pretty easy I just wanted to make sure before I go and work on it.

Any advice or comments that could help me out are greatly appreciated.
Thx in advance.

You have to remove the whole coil assembly, compress the spring, replace the shock and then put it all back together. Probably best left to professionals if you don't know what you are doing.

Also, be aware that the brake line must be disconnected in order to remove the rear coil assemblies.
