Cooler weather + cash = repairs
With cooler weather in the (hopefully) near future I'll be able to work on my girlfriends '99 Corolla. Plus having some cash for repairs.
Today I changed both front outside door handles. Took about an hour to do both following my old walkthrough. DIY: How to replace a broken outside door handle.
Only real problem I had was the inside passenger handle was real brittle and broke. Oh well.
Next up will be all new strut assemblies when it gets cooler. I bought the Leacree strut set and door handles from RockAuto for about $370. I know I'll hear "Why didn't you buy (this type)?" but hey, I'm on a tight budget still and anything should be better than originals with 175k miles on them.
