Anyway, I just got this 2000 Corolla, run great with 70K miles on it. I went to do a emission test today to get it registered but it failed the test, the OBD code is P0300 (Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected) and P0171 (System too Lean, Bank 1). The Check Engine Light (CEL) has been on for a while but I didn't bother to look at it because the car runs great other wise. Also noted in the report is that it failed the Gas Cap Pressure Test, so I went to Pepboy's and get a new gas cap. Any idea where to start? Thanks! --JR
