how to replace throttle position sensor?

hey if someone has done this or knows of someone who has, an explanation would be awesome. ive been trying and trying to get the old one off, but theres so much stuff in the way. again if you know how to remove this thing it would be awesome if you could help me. i even bought the haynes manual and all it says is basically unscrew the old one and put the new one on.
