Yesterday, i changed my oil and probably 30 mins after i went for a drive and noticed that when i pressed the gas my car doesn't move for about a second or 2, but my RPM's go up and then my car jerks and then is normal. I dont really know how to explain it but i think my first gear may be possibly slipping. My car has about 83K miles on it and i change the oil and oil filter every 3k miles.

Did you happen to spill any oil over the engine when doing your oil change? On some cars oil can enter the clutch housing and wet the clutch.

With the emergency brake brake set, transmission in second gear, can you stall the engine when you release the clutch?
