Bad defroster and fuse location

Hi all

My in-law has 2002 Corolla.
His defroster been acting up for over a year. First time driver side contact fell off and I re-attached it.
About 1.5 mth ago, it fell off again. I re-attached it back, and this time secured around with resin.
It still does not work.

1. How do I check for power supply to it? It's a single wire contact, where do I find ground for it?
2. Where exactly is fuse for it? Not in the box under the hood, not in the footwell plastic cover next to driver knee. There's only bunch of plugs there.
