2001 corolla engine swap

hey guys, not sure if this is even possible, but i found a 2010 corolla motor and was wondering if it would fit in my 01 corolla? i dont mind doing some modifications, and the motor looks pretty much the same as the old one. got to replace it because it burns way too much oil.. any suggestions would be good, thanks

anything is possible, it just depends on $$$$... when i used to have my 8th gen S it burnt oil too, i just had the block rebuilt, it was the rings that was the culprit for me. all i did was when i rebuilt it. it was way less $$$$ than a new engine. rebuild whole engine if done by shop about $1300 new used engine was about $900 rebuld just block alone was $400 but i did it myself for little over $200 with machine shop and etc. so if your on a budget id just go along with rebuilding the block, there is ever little problems with the head though, but nice to get it checked up and resurfaced if you must.
