Valve cover noise oil baffle question

Hello,
2000 Corolla 1.8 148k. While cleaning the throttle body, gave it a few revs, heard a strange noise. Best way to describe it is like tapping a fork on a plate. Has me wondering, does this year have an oil baffle on the valve cover? I have an unobstructed view to to the lifters, unlike the 02 Camry. Starting to wonder if the reason I have a clear view to the lifters is because the baffle has come loose and is vibrating on top of the lifters. If anyone else with this year(s) can tell me if there should be a baffle at the bottom of the oil filler hole would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

If you can see your valvetrain - definitely sounds like the bottom of the baffle fell in. On my 2002 - I cannot see any of the valvetrain from the oil fill hole.

Here is an old photo that I snapped of the bottom of the valvecover some time ago.

Update: The baffle is partially bent downwards, rounded with no kink so its stable, not hitting anything. Guess I will just leave it alone for now, maybe dremmel it off when the VC gasket gets changed in spring. As ar as the noise, I think its still suffering from low oil pressure from sludge. Its come a long way so far with M1 HM, oil lights out, P1349 CEL gone for over a month.
