older 1zzfe into vvt-i corolla

I did a search, but couldn't find what i was looking for. i have a 2001 corolla, with the 1.8 vvt-i motor. Unfortunately, its on its way out. It has a burned valve and needs rings. I will probably rebuild it over the winter. This is my daily driver, so i would like to not have it sit until I'm done with the rebuild. I can get my hands on a 1zzfe out of a 98 corolla, for a couple hundred bucks. Can i swap that in without changing fuel pump, wiring harness and any other misc? thanks

It "should" match up with the transmission, however, be sure the 98 engine comes with it's ECM. as far as the fuel pump, harneses, etc... i would call and ask a local toyota dealer.
