8th gen resonator

i'm gonna go ahead and try to take out the intake resonator... buuuttt where exactly is it?? xD

i want to hear the engine some more and that is in the way right now :P

could someone please tell me where it's located? or maybe show a picture if possible? i'd appreciate it ^_^

The intake resonator sits inside, between the driver's side fender and wheel liner. Options are to completely pull it out or bypass it - depends on how much work you want to do. Some have opted to break apart the inside of the resonator - though I'd say that is more work for little gain, plus you have no way to go back to stock down the road.

i'll go ahead and try to find it sometime soon, haven't had much free time. i'll probably end up just taking it out completely if i can... how much work is it?? xD and what are some options to bypass it?

ok, i found the resonator and ripped it out! >

sounds just like i was hoping for too ^_^ at mid-to-high RPMs, the sound is just fantastic. and that's exactly what i was looking for. I also got a K&N drop in filter. so happy about that too mods are slowly coming together...
