lsd or open differential??

Does our 8th gen 5speed come with a LSD or an Open Diff? mines a 98 and id like to know. Thanks all.

It's open. Very few FWD cars come standard with LSD and those that do will be performance oriented vehicles. In some Infinity G20, there was LSD option for example.

If you really want to be sure...there it won't be too hard to figure out. Lift one side of your car with a jack and put it on a jack stand. Put the car in gear and try to drive. With open diff, the wheel in the air will spin and the car won't move. With LSD, the car will move.

Don't actually try this. It is a spectacularly bad idea and intended as nothing more than a joke.
