Cooling fan issues

Hey Everyone, Happy Holidays!!!

Question to everyone. So recently the rolla seems to have its fans on all the time from ignition on state.

Morning drive:
Car is cold, coolant temp gauge in instrument cluster is below C, key in, ignition on = Fans Purring away (both Rad and Condenser fan)

After a 30 minute drive both highway and city:
Car coolant temp gauge in the middle (normal after a couple of minutes) = Fans purring away.

Did a search on the forum and also on google, came up with this

www.toyotadostlari.com/uploads/COOLING-FANS.pdf

Step by step guide on finding the culprit: ECT switch or Relay

My first question is, are the ECT switch and Sensor the same thing different name, or are they physically two different items.

My second question is, the service manual above, talks a bout the general location of the ECT switch, but neither that nor Toyota OEM part diagrams indicate what and where the ECT Switch is. I`ve tried everything to scour the web and look physically in my engine bay to figure this but to no avail.
if its not too much to ask, can someone post a picture of what and where the ECT switch is.

Thanks and again Happy Holidays!

if you're defroster is on, the ac is activated possibly causing the fans to be on. turn off your defroster, and see if your fans shut off.
