Can I install A/C system on my 2001 Corolla?

I keep getting conflicting information. Some people tell me that Toyota didn't make A/C system kits for the 2001s. Some tell me that kits for the 2000 model will fit on my 2001, while others say it will not. Has anyone done this? Help!

I'm not following here. AC is standard on this car. And you shouldn't need a R-12 to 134 retrofit its too new. Could you clarify what you mean?

Thanks for the quick response! I know it's non-standard, but my car doesn't have an a/c system installed at all. It doesn't even have a button for it (just a plastic cover where the button should be). I'm trying to figure out if I can install it. 2000 and older a/c system "kits" are readily available, but 2001 and newer are not. I'm trying to figure out if a 2000 kit will fit on my car. Thank you!
