Need some advice... Please!!!

My corolla ce has been pretty much Un-driveable. The best way to explain it is just to say it is very sluggish when i first start it up. Then as the engine warms up it starts to run better and better. So I took it to autozone and got them to run a check engine light test, even though it wasnt on. I still got for codes back, p0171, p0110, p0100, p0302. All of these codes go back to air flow issues though.

http://www.obd-codes.com/p0100
http://www.obd-codes.com/p0110
http://www.obd-codes.com/p0171
http://www.obd-codes.com/p0302

after looking at these codes can anyone tell me if it is worth getting fixed ( less then 500)

greatly appreciated!!!

Try this before you go to a mechanic:

1) Change air filter
2) Clean MAF sensor with MAF sensor cleaner
3) Clean throttle body and the IAC hole with the rest of the MAF cleaner
4) Use 2X bottles of Techron concentrate. for 2X consecutive tanks.

That should do it!

If u like what I write hit the THX button. That way I know to continue contributions or STFU.

Before anyone could say if its worth fixing, a little more info please. Whats the year, model, the miles on the car? The first thing to do is check for vaccume leaks, with a can of carb cleaner. you are also getting a missfire cyl. 2 have you checked your plugs and wires or coils?

No problem. The 4 things I gave you worked for me and other people on here with those CEL's. The idea is do all the basics, then move to more complicated (and expensive) items. The techron concentrate fuel system cleaner has PEA, the only known fuel additive that actually works. problems along the fuel system can set off a number of lights, from evap to misfires. the TB IAC controls the startup idle, so between those two something good should happen. Let us know.

One more...replace your pcv valve. that should be tired and gooped up after so many miles. when they start to go they can draw oil out the valve, ends up in the air intake, coats the TB and MAF with oil, not good.

Id check the VVT screen also...oil might start flowing through the plugged screen better as it heats up. You might want to check the temp sensor that controls the cold/warmed up cycle on the engine. I'm thinking the VVTI engines have a sensor for the gauge and one for the computer.
