Do you have larger aftermarket rims and tires on your car? If so the tire is most likely making contact with the rear quarter panel/wheel well.
edit:
I just realized you said the left side is making the noise when you turn left. That wouldn't be a tire contacting the quarter panel.
My question still would be if you have aftermarket rims. If they are larger than stock I think that's the most likely cause a rubbing scraping noise. You can get a scratching /scraping noise out of worn out drum brakes as well but I wouln't expect that to have anything to do with turning or bumps.
