The clips that hold the lense are on either side of the opening for the switch lever. Carefully pry it down, then there are two tabs that will pull out of the other end. Just changed my bulb last week.

thanks again everyone , the wife's happy she doesn't have to take a flashlight out in the morning any more! Now that crazy little bulb in the map lite . 12volt 10 watt I think its a 3175 or something . Anyway I cant find one . do I half to go to toyota , or maybe a junkyard?
You have 2 roof lights, one for the door, and one up front? The middle door light is the dome, the front is the map. The door light takes the 3175 "festoon" bulb, the front is a small 57 BA-9 bulb.

Why not LED? As long as you stay away from cheap, crappy, LEDs, a good LED is brighter, lasts longer, and draws less power than a bulb. Good LEDs also offer better color balance than crappy ones; only ever having seen light from crap LEDs is the leading cause of LED hatred.
