i think you guys are a little confused. the car HAS to be turned to the acc position so that i can slip push in the little pin under the lock cylinder and be able to slip it out. right now it is stuck at the LOCK position and will not budge. and NO you do not need to remove the steering wheel i've done this be fore on a 94 corollas and a few camry's the mechanics are all the same, but you have to get it into the ACC position before that little pin will go in all the way for you to slip it out. and also the car does NOT have airbags. at this point i am going to get a drill and a solid drill bit and just drill carfully through the pin all together, destroying it, which will alow me to get the cylinder out........
