2006 Corolla S - need advice

Hi. I need some advice on what parts I need to fix my car, if I can even do it myself. I am going to post some pictures below so you can see what is wrong. I'm sure the pictures will cause some questions, but I would really appreciate comments that will help me fix my car. Long story short this is property damage that I will have to fix myself. I have no car experience (and you may have to tell me what the names of my interior car parts are), but I can read instructions ; if I need to have Toyota fix my car, I can do that also just to be done with this; however I work during the week so it is hard to take it there to get fixed and I really need to fix asap.

My passenger side panel where the power window button is was damaged. I actually popped it up so while it is broken, the window works and it is flat. The only way you can see it is damaged now is if you look at it. The picture I attached was when it was initially damaged. Is that part easy to fix and is the part from Toyota relatively cheap?

My main questions are about the front panel where my radio is damaged. The radio plays, but the caps for the volume and tuner came off. The buttons and plastic are destroyed. Can I replace this with a radio from best buy? Should I just have them install it?

My A/C is not working. The buttons on this part of the panel (is there a more technical name for this piece?) are pushed in and don't want to come out. Can I remove this front panel and push them out?

The clock as you can see is also pushed in and not working. Where can I get a new clock, can I install it myself, and difficulty level? Do I need to disconnect my battery if I installed anything by myself? Is there the danger of my airbag blowing up?

Where can I buy new knobs for my A/C?

This is very disturbing and I really just need some advice on how to fix this .... Toyota here are closed on Sundays.... if I need to get a new radio I can buy one at Best Buy tomorrow and have them install it.

Thanks in advance for your help.

I didn't do this to my car, nor would I do this to ANY car. Its called someone broke into my car and f*cked it up and I would like advice on what parts I need to fix it.

I should add that my car was perfectly fine when I drove it to work this morning.

Take it to the dealer or body/collision repair shop and have them run an estimate, have them order parts, and have them do the work.

Since I have to get this repaired, if I was going to buy some sort of radio from Bestbuy, should I go get that installed first and then take it to a dealer for estimates/repair on the rest of the damage? Or should I take it to the dealer first? How would anyone else proceed with this? Thank you for your response... this is really actually very traumatizing for me.

I still have the same original unused radio/CD player available, but I'm in Canada... You should be able to find a compatible radio at Bestbuy. You could have it installed at the same time all parts are replaced.

Thank you very much! That last post was very helpful (although mind boggling) so I can see why it is much easier to just take it to the dealer since there is multiple things that need fixing and replacing.

Every single part damaged can be bought on eBay and some even at a junkyard or Craigslist. There are people selling 6 CD radios for 50 bucks most of the time. The door switch panel, clock, and AC controls are all eBay. No sense in paying a ridiculous price for new stuff.

My Toyota List:

1982 Corolla SR-5 Hardtop 1JZGTE R154
2005 Corolla CE Manual 1ZZFE
2009 Camry LE Auto 2AZFE

If I helped out in any way please hit the Thanks button under my post.

I got my radio replaced at Best Buy today and the guy who fixed it told me that they have an account with the dealer so he could get me the parts to fix my car for a discount and that he would fix it for me at BestBuy with $60-80 labor. I need to replace the clock, the a/c (inside is broken) and the outside panel..... they were really professional and helpful. He said it is not something they normally fix, but he said it is easy to fix so they would fix it for me. I am not looking forward to the price to purchase a new clock and a/c unit. I just want to fix it and be done with it so I do not have to look or think about it. Does anyone know how much the a/c and clock would run?

Get the clock from ebay or a junk yard. What is wrong with the AC?

Have you removed the screw behind middle fan speed knob and 2 screws behind compartment door to remove panel and inpect? It may be possible to pull the clock back in proper position and fix its mount.

The guy who installed my radio looked at everything else for me. He said that I need a new clock and a new a/c unit. He pushed everything back into place for me, but he said that the a/c is broken; its not the just knobs that are broken. Does that make sense? He said that I need the actual a/c part behind that front panel.

I think he mentioned something about the fan not working. I know he said that it is not the switches/knobs (even the bust up switches will work); he said it is behind the knobs. He said if the fan doesnt work, the a/c won't work. Does that help?

The middle knob (the one that turns the a/c on) is loose also so you can turn it but its not tight.
