Your mileage please

Hi all,
Well better late than never but here go's. I have an 04 corolla S manual trans with the TRD supercharger. I bought it new and never made it through a tank of gas before I installed the thing. I wanted to, just to see what kind of mileage I was getting and what if any I was going to loose. So my question to all of you is, How far will a full tank get you. I live here in SO Cal and most of my driving is on city streets. I get 320-330 miles per tank and I don't have a heavy foot. Just this morning I filled up with super, had 319 miles and it took 10.75 gal. What do you think.

Thanks for reading.

Doug

I thought it wasn't good to run your tank down to empty because it would initiate the deposits in your tank. It's best to drive your car to about 3/4 empty and then fill up. Actually the rule of thumb I've been taught here in southern california is to always have at least a half tank of gas because I live in the earthquake capital of the country, so if there were ever an earthquake, I won't be saddled into a long line at the gas station just for 1 gallon!

You are correct, But it is the fuel pump that can go bad if you run it dry. I allways fill up every friday but I got busy and let it go for another week and then it was a quest to see how far I could go.

P.S I am the wholesale parts manager at a larger dealership.....Life time warranty on stuff like that
