Plastic fender panels keep falling off

Hello,

I have a 2004 Corolla S, and have been very happy with it, but it has one annoying problem - the plastic panels on the inside of the front wheelwells, and beneath and just aft of thr bumper, keep falling off. I've re-installed them numerous times, using a combination of new screws with fender washers, cotter pins, and even electrical wire, but it's a losing battle, so it's time to replace at least the ones on the left side. Any idea what these pieces cost, and if there are any less expensive alternatives to the dealership? Also, is this a common problem? Thanks.

I got under the car after placing my post, and to be more specific, the little plastic protectors behind the front bumper are actually OK; a couple of the fasteners have just fallen off, so once I replace these, again, (why do these darn things keep falling off ?), these pieces should be OK. But the large piece that wraps around the entire inside of the fender, and a little ways under the rocker panel, is mangled beyond repair, so it's just this piece that I'd need. Any ideas for some good sources for this piece? I have a feeling the dealer would want an arm and a leg for it. Thanks.

Try the dealer first.... report back on the cost to replace them.
