Error Code 3 on 2005 Toyota Corolla S

This is on my 6 cd changer/radio. Toyota said they want $1600 to replace the unit. What exactly is this error code? I think it's just a disk that slipped. Any info or help I would appreciate it greatly. thanks

I don't have one, or have ever owned one, but that seems WAYYY to high. I would think that $300 would be to high.
If they have to replace it, your better off just getting a aftermarket radio that is single disc for alot cheaper.

No, get a JVC unit with its 12-disc changer. You get more bang for the buck this way!
