Fog Light Cover Stolen...

Someone helped themselves to my driver's side fog light blank cover last night. It's a 2008 Corolla LE. It's just a piece of black plastic, and it looks like it pops right out of the bumper with no tools. Easy pickin's.
My question is: Does anyone out there who has converted to real fog lights have their old covers laying around? I'm going to check w/the dealer tomorrow, I'm sure they're way overpriced. I'd be happy to buy for a reasonable price and pay shipping to someone on this forum rather than a dealer.

Thanks,
John

John, bad news. You should be able to find this item from a salvage yard pretty easily. You'll need one from a 2005-2008 LE or CE.

Dealer is wayyyyy over priced. Check to see if your fogs are pre wired. Look for a blue plug around the fog light cover, it may be taped or some how held down to the car or tucked away.

Buy some fogs off of ebay or a junk yard Go to a junk yard buy a fog light relay, and get a light stalk out of a corolla s. Everything should be plug and play. I think the fog relay is the same relay as the horn. You can even get it from autozone, but the stalk will likely have to come from a junk yard.

I doubt it was stolen. As you noted there isn't much holding it in to star with. Corollas seem to have the worst problem with this but I also see a few camrys and highlanders "losing" theirs. You might want to try hot-glue or use a little bit of epoxy if you don't upgrade to fog lights.

I lost my passenger side one a few months back from a truck tire carcass that was throw up at me.
Im planning to put some fogs in there place in the not too distant future.
