Tire recommendation

Hello all, I am new to this site. I just picked up an 03 Corolla to use as a daily driver. I just got it today and I have to get tires. Here's the thing.

I live in NC and hardly get any snow, also when there is snow, I also have a 4x4 so unless I am out an it starts snowing, this car should not see snow.

I would say 80% of driving is local (45 mph and under) so I really don't need anything high speed rated. I travel to Durham from Charlotte maybe once every two months but most of the driving is 30 minute trips.

I have Goodyear Integritys 195x65x15 on there now but since I just got this, I don't know how well they are.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

Michelin Hydroedges are nice... long lasting, very quiet and smooth riding tire.

Hey there. I'm also in NC. I think the Yokohama Avid TRZ is an excellent choice. I hear it's great in snow, but that doesn't really matter to you and me. What does matter is wet road traction and aquaplane resistance, and it's excellent on this tire. I've had mine for about 2500 miles now, and really enjoy them. They will be stiffer than the Goodyears. The Integrity tires are pretty flimsy.

Can only comment on my personal experience, but.... those same tires came standard on my wife's '05, and they are absolutely THE worst tires I've ever driven on in any conditions regarding moisture.....they flat out suck for traction - I consider them hazardous unless it's bone dry outside . They wore well (almost 60,000 miles before replacement), can't complain about mpgs, but they've sucked in the wet from day one. Replace them with any other same sized tire and you should be well off.
