I pull a small 4 X 8 trailer with lawn tractors or other gardening stuff with no problem. Remember to not use overdrive in a manual transmission if you are pulling much of a load, or if an automatic, lock out the overdrive when pulling. I use the overdrive when the trailer is empty, but not with any load. I have had no problems. Good luck! Steve
