2006 Corolla S Ipod/Iphone Input??

I have been trying to find a way to play music on my iphone, through the stock stereo of my 06 corolla s. I have considered aftermarket Head Units but would much rather keep the stock one. Does Toyota sell an adapter for either an ipod or an aux headphone jack? If so, does anyone know if it will work with an iphone 3g? Thanks for your Help

For aux audio input, I am using a PAC Aux2Car that I transferred over from my old Buick. Works just fine. They used to make an iPod2Car adapter as well, but not sure if that is still around. Both adapters plug into the CD changer port on the back of the radio.

Also, would like to add that FM modulators suck. Hard.

Sorry you've had such poor experience with FM modulators. I've got my Sirius radio hard-wired to my Corolla's radio with an FM modulator and it works super. I had it in my old Cadillac, too.

Why do you think FM modulators are so bad?

For starters, my experience has been with the built in FM transmitter on various Sirius radios They work great if you stay in one area. However, for long road trips, it seems as if every 50-75 miles you are changing the stations - a giant pain. Naturally, a hard wired FM transmitter works MUCH better. However, given the price, my thought is why not spend a bit more and get something that is a direct connection into the radio.

My second complaint is that the FM frequency is limited to the frequency response range of 50 to 15,000Hz. Sorce: http://www.cybercollege.com/frtv/frtv017.htm
Yes, of course Sirius and MP3 players are a compressed source to begin with, but using higher bitrate MP3's will make the limited frequency response noticeable.
