2003 Corolla spark plugs at 92500

I replaced plugs in my daughter's Corolla. The originals were NGK and I put in Denso iridiums. The old ones look pretty good and the gaps are right on the mark. Here is a photo. #1 cylinder on the left. I was wondering if #1 is running a little hot. Any thoughts?

#1 actually looks pretty normal from your picture, #4 looks like there is some deposit on it though. The lighting of the picture makes it a little difficult to tell if it is deposit on the insulator or just shadow of the light.

However, I have to admit that I am not very good at reading plugs though.

Thanks. I added a couple more pictures. All of them have a slight deposit on the ceramic.

Was the car being driven on the highway mostly?

I don't know the full history. My daughter bought it in 2007 with 75000 miles. She has driven to and from Chicago a few times and around Chicago in city driving. The previous owners lived in Pittsburgh so it was probably a mix of city and highway. Thanks for the inputs. Currently I am trying to "cure" a P0420 code, hopefully w/o buying a cat converter.

I don't know; they look awfully good to me. Good on you for replacing with the OE spec (iridium) instead of throwing in some copper Autolites!

I can't see a thing wrong with those plugs, other than some slight gap opening.

Thanks again. The gaps looked wide to me too but they are all between 0.040 and .045, closer to .045.

I re-read your first post, where you indicated the gaps were correct. They DO look wide. Feeler gauges don't lie, though.
