How loud is it? Any difference in performance or gas miliage or is it more of a noise thing?

gas mileage is not affected. Here is my dyno sheet, I am an automatic 07 S with only TRD axleback as a performance mod. Gain was around 2 hp

Here is a dyno vid, Sorry it was outdoor at a car show so the there is alot of background noise.

How is the gain 2hp when the math from the chart clearly works out to 0.6hp?

And it looks like you actually lost a small amount of torque which is typical when you install an exhaust.

They set up the wrong car as you can tell, it says a Yaris. Auto Corolla's run around 110 hp at the flywheel

so why not ask them to dyno it again if it's the wrong car?

it pretty much invalidates any claim you make of a power increase.

I am not complaining at all, It was a Toyota show that a local dealership put on with free runs on the dyno. So I figured hey I might as well try for fun.

I'm a bit confused. I thought the Yaris was rated around 110hp. I know my 5 spd Corolla is rated around 130hp. Also how did you get a base hp line or did you get the TRD package installed in the same day?

That is 128 hp at the Crank, This was a Dynapack dyno which involves taking the front wheels off (see in video) and they take the power from the Flywheel, It is gonna be significantly lower and if it was a rolling dyno I would be below 100hp at the wheels.

No I bought the TRD exhaust from a fellow member on another forum I always visit and it was installed for a few months prior to the dyno/carshow

Are you sure that 110hp is not at the wheels? It looks to me like the dyno used in the video is measuring wheel hp by locking on to your hub. Crank hp or Flywheel hp is the exact same measurement. If it measured flywheel hp, you are missing 20 ponies.

Even if we know what Corollas "typically" make at the wheels, comparing a dyno sheet to a generic figure, not taken from the same car, doesn't really make a good comparison. It's great that you have a dyno graph; don't get me wrong. But at the same time, I don't think it can be used to say, well there's a 2 HP gain because I made 112 HP and other guys with stock cars have gotten 110 HP. 2 HP can be easily found in sampling error. For example, maybe your car would have measured 108 HP stock, and you really gained 4 HP. Or maybe your car would have measured 112 HP stock, and you really gained 0 HP. The difference between 110 and 112 HP is about 1.9%. There's easily that much difference (and more) just in production line tolerances.

In other words, we don't know what your car does without the TRD axle back, so we can't assign a "HP gained" number to it.
