05 CE Auto

In drive I notice about 700-800RPM.
In park its around 950RPM.
No accessories running and the engine is at operating temperature.

Remember that most toyotas have a high idle during warm-up also.

I have a 05 LE Auto

Start up RPM in the winter (at 30-40 F) is at about 2000. After about 5-6 mins of idling in park it comes down to about 1200.

After i start driving off though it will drop down to about 800.

Hope that helps.

I have a 2005 Corolla LE and it idles the same way. I think this is the way it is supposed to be as my coworker's 2006 CE is the same way.

yesterday i noticed that after the car is warmed up and i am stopped at a red light, the car will sit at 800rpm.... after about 20 secs, the rpm will jump up to 1k rpm for a few seconds then drop back down to 800... this process will then repeat... i didn't have the brake all the way down, so when the rpm moved, the car creeped forward...

is this normal??? does anyone have a clue what this may be???

Yeah, the A/C light doesn't light, even if the A/C compressor is actually working (because you might have the knob in either of the defrost positions). I wish the light did light...just to let you know the A/C compressor is running.
