Decouple AC & Recirculation from Defrost '07 Corolla

Don't know if this was a previous post on this site. Kudos to Marc for DIY, 12/30/2007 http://greenmycon.com/Resources/CAR/Decouple_AC_Defroster.pdf[/url]
I came across this originally back in Jul-Aug '08 using Disconnect AC from Defroster on '08 Corolla. Don't know if this will work on earlier/late model Corollas & can't be positive if I came across the PDF on the Matrix/Vibe site. Please post with your car year if mod works for any other years than '07 for the benefit of other TN members!

I just did this mode to my Corolla and Civic. The corolla is mechanical while the Civic was electronic. This yields me an extra 4-5 miles / gallon in the winter since I use defrost 90% of time.
