How long do clutch and brakes last on Corolla?

05 Corolla. I have almost 60k and have no changed clutch or brakes yet .
I am curious how long do they normally last? I think Im a 80% conservative driver & 20% agreesive driver. How long did yours last before the first change?

clutch should go to over 100k miles, check the brakes, you may be getting close to needing a change.

at least a 100k. or it also depends on how you use them. like hard braking, moderate etc. check the pads and see. or if you do normal maintenance with Toyota they should tell you how much brake pad you have left.

Clutch - 100 miles to 200,000 miles, depends mainly on the driver, and somewhat on driving conditions. However, the Corolla clutch is as good or better than any other manufacturers. Front Brakes - 20,000 to 100,000, depends on driver and driving conditions. Rear - 50,000 to 200,000, same depends. I find the Corolla brakes to be better than most as far as how long they last.

well my brakes lasted 75k

sent to dealer to replace and installed new pads. Somehow they screwed something up your better doing it yourself lol. I decided to purchase brand new rotors and pads at kragen.com with 15percent off code. $70 shipped for everything! Use brake cleaner on new rotors to remove any oil and go for it. I even used syn brake grease where needed my brakes work sweet now! Heavy salted roads like mine reduce life brake rotors. I also had to use torch to warm up rotor it was rusted real good. You should get 100k out grandma driving california weather. Clutches can last 1million miles if you know how to baby your stuff and is designed right like bmw setups. Ive seen kids mess up a tranny and clutch at 30k miles. ( also turning the rotor in my case would be waist $! $70 for everything!)

I'm not sure how long they are supposed to last but I have 310,000 km's on my Corolla and I still have 40% on my front brakes and when I had the new tranny put in at 220,000km's and there wasn't enough wear on my clutch to warrent it to be changed.

So it would really depend on your driving habits..

There is no particular mileage for the clutch. Technically, it should never go out, but it does (especially if you have a 2ZZ that comes with a weak clutch from 1ZZ rather than the stronger Celica GTS clutch).

My brakes are beginning to fade especially when they get very hot. I am at 50,000 KM. In the winter, they seem fine since they do not get hot. Although, I have driven spiritedly a lot and taken the car to the track a few times.
