Control arm bushing replacement

Ok i have 2003 corolla figured out what was wrong. Clam shaped bushing in drivers side control arm is broke/torn. Anyone have ideas how to remove the arm? The front lc bolt hits the auto tranny pan when trying to remove. Is there a way to get this out? Im doing this in driveway with 3k jack, stands, rocks to hold wheels.

Found this write up at tdi looks similar to mine, also with the energy suspension kit i purchased autozone 8.3120g. The replacement ES kit doesnt have alum ring around it do i leave the old in place somehow?

Another option is just to replace the whole control arm $60 on ebay guessing it comes with bushings.

Try rockauto. They may list both the bushing and arm/bushing at a reasonable price.

Dropping the pan is not hard, when off clean pan, screen and magnets. The pan gasket may be a form-in-place gasket material if so make sure you have some on hand.
