Need some help to make my Corolla look better.

Hi, i recently bought a Corolla 08 LE.

I was wondering what kind of subs, amp, and head unit i should get. I was also wondering would a black tint look right with that metallic grey color?
- i have about 500-600$ to spend.
-tint = 150$
im thinking of spending around:
head unit- 75- 125$
amp - 150-200$
subs - 150-200$

good luck finding a decent head unit for 75-125 but I run | MTX amps with infinity speakers. I would go for a decent pioneer amp, it won't run you too much for the amp. I would go to future shop and see if they have any sub/box deals. I picked up a 12" infinity sub in the box for 100 but it was a year old. I wouldn't go for black tints. 15% personally.

i have an mtx amp. dont know the model number. I paid jsut a little over 300 for it and it is amazing.

The above are good sugestions on looks... now for the car to sound better. Since you are on a budget try this. For now keep the factory head unit, and shop around for good replacement speakers, and a good 4 channel amp with good power to bang! Save up some $$$ and add a sub and an amp to drive it... Bingo!!! Hear are some cool products to look at... Orion amps, Canton Speakers, Or All Alpine Amps & Spks or look at Phoenix Gold or MB quarts... All of these are a solid foundation to build on... Good Luck!

MTX has a package that is being discontinued right now, amp + dual 12'' subs for around $180 on ebay. Its a 1000W system...I got it for my setup and they are great. Its a prebuilt enclosure to boot! Heres an Ebay link...they are being phased out for the thunder series I believe.
