Question Help On Engine Swap

CAN ANYONE HELP ME FIGURE OUT WHAT TO DO. I BLEW THE ENGINE ON MY 04 COROLLA S 1.8 1ZZFE I WANNA SWAP IT OUT BUT I WANTED TO KNOPW IF THERE ARE ANY OTHER ENGINE THAT I CAN USE WITH THE AUTOMATIC TRANS THAT I HAVE . I WOULD BE WILLING TO SWAP TO MANUAL BUT IF THERES SOMTHING THAT WILL BOLT UP TO MY AUTO TRANS THEN PLEASE LET ME KNOW. I WAS WONDERING IF THERE WAS A MIX AND MATCH LIST FOR TOYOTAS LIKE THERE IS FOR HONDAS. IF ANYONE CAN HELP ME OUT. LET ME KNOW MY OPTIONS. THANX .,

The 1ZZ-FE is really your only option as far as I know. I mean, you COULD swap anything in there, but with varying difficulty and cost. The only "bolt-in" option is the 1ZZ-FE. It's found in a variety of models, like the Corolla, Matrix, Celica, Pontiac Vibe, etc. It should be relatively easy to find.

well you could always put the 1zz 1.8L back in
then you could do the 2zz 1.8L with VVTL-I
or the 3zz which is a 1.6L
or a 4zz which is a 1.4 L

That would be your really only option.

Ya I Know Its Blown For Sure . I Wish I Could Throw In A Celica Gts Engine That Would Be Nice. But Im Surprised I Cant Find Any Swap Kits.
