05 Corolla battery hold-down

Hi. I just replaced the battery on my 05 Corolla. The battery sits on top of a plastic tray, but there doesn't seem to be any holes on the tray for the battery hold-down to hook onto. So I just hooked the J hook onto the bottom of the battery itself, but it seems to come loose easily. Is there a better way to do this? Any help is appreciated!

Are you positive there is no hole? It may be underneath the tray or the side of the frame. Use a flashlight and a mirror might help to look underneath there.

The one on my '07 is off to the side...to the rear of the tray if looked at from the front. Underneath the air cleaner box. The J-hook bolt sits at a bit of an angle when installed properly.
