USA Shake,Ratle, and 'rolla

The 10th Generation Corolla among many things is built on a new platform that has exceptional low noise and vibration level. If you google corolla vibration there is a ton of drivers who have a vibration problem. So can someone tell me why after 49000 miles I have a bad vibration on my 04 corolla. I had 0ne motor mount replaced but even that did not change the vibration. The dealer does all the service and can not find the problem. 4 of the 5 years the car ran great, the last year the vibration started. Cold start the rpm is 2000 and warm run is 600 at idle. I'm at a lost on the vibration. So can anyone offer any suggestions or can you relate to the problem... help

The dealer did the tires. the vibration is from the engine and it doen't have to be driven to feel the vibration. you can see the engine and the doors when opened vibrate. are there better after market motor mounts that can be used to smooth out the vibration. recall the first 4 years the engine ran great.

Generally, aftermarket motor mounts make vibrations stronger because they allow less jittering of the motor. The stock motor mounts allow more jittering in the engine to make the drive smooth, but the engine rocks a lot more under hard acceleration with the stock motor mounts.

Are you manual or automatic?

What rpm is the motor running at when the vibration happens?

Does it vibrate strong at idle? Or while driving? Or both? Does it feel like a strong "shudder" sensation? Sounds like the engine may have a strong ignition miss.

Ren69, just got your message. Hard viberation is at 800 RPM when in drive and foot on the brake, and also at 1000 RPM when in park.

JasonA, to your response, the engine viberates strong at 800-1000 rpm, the motor shakes and the doors when open jump. At 60-70 mph it is not as pronounced but every thing is faster and viberation is felt in the S-wheel, floorboards, and seats... my fuel mileage hasn't changed it is between 35-39 city/hwy. The dealer says it is normal, I beg to differ. I had one of the girls at work take it to office depot and the first thing she said was do all Corollas' shake like mine, so it is not normal and Toyota is not willing to correct the issue. Like I posted before the first 4 years I couldn't hear nor feel the motor until about 10 months ago when I reported it. what next?
