Another Broken Side View Mirror

After the hell my wife went through yesterday with a guy opening his door in our car and breaking the mirror; the local tough guy parking ticket processor gave my wife a warning while she was waiting for the police to arrive in the loading area my wife pulled into, where he seems to have an issue with the business owner who has the loading area and was ready for a fight with the owner; I decided to replace the mirror myself.

Now I'm trying to replace the whole mirror. I can remove the speaker cover and the top nut but not the bottom two. It seems I need to remove the inside panel. Can anyone help me with how to remove this panel? I understand you need to remove the section on the arm rest. I am not sure what to do next. Also, is there a place where the wiring can be easily disconnected from the mirror? I assume if there is, it is behind the panel. I really don't want to break anything while trying to fix the mirror.

Well, I found a bit of info on this.

You need a screwdriver that is taped and a wrench/socket for 10mm nuts.

Remove the front armrest assembly with the screwdriver. I was able to pop it off with my hands. There are three pieces that hook in the center portion of the rest. There is a clip on each end of the rest.
Remove the electronic control section. There are six hooks (for drivers side) that attach along with a clip. You use the screwdriver for this as well.
For the piece where the speaker is, there is a clip on the top and a hook on the bottom. Pop the clip out first and this easily comes off.
On the door trim there are three screws that need removed. Two are found at the armrest assembly area and the third at the latch. Use the screwdriver to remove eight clips that surround the panel. You need to pull this trim upward to remove it.
You can disconnect the mirror connector and front speaker. The nuts are easy to remove.

In a nutshell that is how you can do it. I'm sure the non-power portions of this are similar if not the same.
