Cupped Left Front Tire 07 Corolla S

I started noticing a constant thumping from the left front awhile back. I had the tires rotated (new) and front end alignment. That was in October. The cupping is back. What could be causing this? Only on the driver's side front. Anybody else have this problem?

Did you need an alignment? At 70,000 miles, when I replaced my OEM tires on my Frontier, I did not get an alignment - didn't need one. My old tires wore very well, so I saved my $$$.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it!
(You may break it then...)
