Help Please... Stereo Steering Control Adaptor

Hi
I have just fitted a Kenwood double Din Unit to a 2003 Corolla. The vehicle has original steering controls.
Can anyone tell me if there is a harness lead available to go between the vehicles harness and the Kenwood unit to make steering controls work.
I have been sold a lead that I was told would be the one (it was listed for an Avensis and Yaris), but the plugs were different.
Thanks for any help available.

Where are you from? The 9th gen corollas in the US do not have that option, although that would be cool.

Its not my car, its a customers that I am working on. So sorry no pics until the next time he drops it in to finish install.

Definitely original controls. Right hand drive version, so not an import. Quite a good spec, full leather interior, tinted glass etc, whether that helps.

From your comment though I take it steering controls are not the norm on Corollas.

Hopfully someone else is able to help me....please

Phil

When I get home later I will upload pics of wiring I have left after plugging new head unit in.
