Aftermarket Cat-back Exhaust

short of getting one custom made, has anyone here installed a cat-back aftermarket sport exhaust on their 2003 corolla? i.e. greddy, hks, magnaflow, tsudo etc. would like to know if it was a good application, easy to install, good sound & performance? cheers from toronto, trd_rolla

yes i installed my Magnaflow catback myself. It was 2 bolts to disconnect the exhaust from the header, then 2 bolts to disconnect the axleback. Then there are 4 hangers and the whole exhaust will come off. After that i got my saw and cutt the stock exhaust right after the cats. Then hooked the new one up and your good to go. it took me about 2 hours going slow. OO ya and make sure you have plenty of PB blaster. Some of those bolts are a bi*ch to get off

hi and thanx for your reply. once you cut off stock exhaust with saw after cat did you have to do any welding or does it just bolt in? are you happy with the magnaflow? i was intially looking for trd but found out it was discontinued. then i looked at borla but found out that was discontinued as well. then you've got this 4.5" tsudo on ebay for just over 100usd but that looks like it's going to be loud from a block away, i don't know. hks and greddy don't seem to have one for a 03. magnaflow seems to be my next option.
