The XRS comes with a rear suspension X-Brace stock that was manufactured by Toyota for chasis torsional rigidity. It works with the XRS fixed, solid seat since it is a 4 point brace. I am not sure if it will work for the 1ZZ 60/40 foldable seat.
If it can work, you can probably look at ordering it from Toyota. However, like I mentioned it is a 4 point brace, you will not be able to fold your seat.

Well then i wonder if it would fit a S corolla, or if its interchangeble, maybe someone can post a picture of their XRS rear X-brace to see what it looks like.
I haven't found any on eBay. But, doing a plain internet search there are a lot for this gen corolla. The sad thing is the price & out of the country....
I did the internet search, and most sites only have strut bars for 7-8 gen corollas and AE86 corollas, and some sites dont even have strut bars, but after looking throught like 20 sites, i found one on a TRD site, 170$ for the front strut bar, maybe there is cheaper somewere.
I believe the XRS bar works on all Corollas. You can still fold the seat...you just can't pass anything large through the opening, since the brace will be covering a lot of it. But I imagine you'd still be able to put thinner items through it, like skiis maybe.
Finaly i found a front strut bar for my Corolla, its made by Vibrant and it's a 2 point flat edgy square like desings, not like most tube-like strut bars, so anybody know about this company, are they any good?.
Ops, sorry for the repost, but here is another strut bar that looks like a Vibrant, and these strut bars are not a one solid piece unit, does it make them worse then a solid piece strut bar like this one http://lib.store.yahoo.net/lib/yhst-...strut-bar2.jpg
I would think a solid one piece bar would be stronger and provide more value. But I've not used them on the Corolla before. I installed one on a Cadillac before and it made a whale of a difference.
