exhaust wrap

should i wrap my stock exhaust with exhaust wrap tape? i was told that it increases performance by preventing the exhasut gases from being cooled to fast and results in gases leaving the exhaust system faster.

so is this a good idea?.

yes the stock exhaust will get wet and it will casue your exhaust to rust faster
