**HELP** rim and tired Q

hey guys, need your help
we own a 2007 corolla and we came across a really cheap set of rims and tires, but here is the thing...the 2007 corolla comes with 15" 5x100 rims w/195 tires...

these rims and tires are 14" 185/65/14

my question is will 14" rims fit on 2007 corolla's? and is using 185 tires be ok?

thanks for your help
mike

Probably better to continue haunting Kijiji and Craigslist until you see a direct replacement size. And check the age, even a tire with plenty of tread but that is five years old is nearing it's life expectancy.

That tire's too small. It doesn't carry the required load rating. Plus, I'm not sure the 14" wheels will clear the brakes on the 9th gen Corolla. They may, but it probably says something that no 9th gen Corolla came with anything less than 15" wheels.

PM me: I actually have a set of the 15x6 steel wheels from my '07 that I'm not using anymore, since I upgraded to OE alloys. You can have them for cheap, but shipping might be expensive.

Thanks Guys

Thanks guys, very helpful! io'm going to pass on this deal. the guy had them sitting around and was willing to let them go for $40 for all 4 rims and tires....but the clearing the brakes was the only thing that i was worried about.

JasonA - Thanks, but shipping from your location would cost an arm and leg for these rims...

Thanks guys!
