corolla with 95,ooo miles been on synthetic from the get-go. is it safe to switch to dino now. car is mostly used in city driving nowadays.

Mine is "yes" as well. And it'd be "yes" if you were asking to go from conventional to synthetic. It really doesn't matter what you run in it -- keep it changed on a regular basis with ANY API SM GF-4 oil (which is pretty much anything on the shelf these days) and you'll be fine for hundreds of thousands of miles.

as long as you change oil in regular basis, for synthetic oil you maybe able to last on higher mileage, and dino will need to change earlier that is all. in canada dealer require you to change dino oil at every 8000km and 10,000km on synthetic.
