04 CE front suspension noise

hi, on my 04 corolla ce with 77k miles, I get a sound like tok tok from the front suspension, just 2 or 3 times when making a right turn. No sound when making a left turn. Also the sound starts when I first begin the turn and quickly goes away.
what could it be? Many thanks for replies.

Take a look at your CV boots. Perhaps one has ripped and you are loosing a joint.

Ditto, sounds like a worn c-v joint or shaft assembly.

I took a good look at both ends of both front axles. The boots look intact and no grease leaks at all. any other suggestion?

could still be a CV joint. (more then likely it is) a torn boot would cause it to fail sooner but it is not the only reason for them to go bad.
